The beginning of the year is always busy for us, as we are travelling all over the world to attend the biggest trade shows, while simultaneously performing the last touches for our new collection. This year, our team has attended Maison&Object in Paris, NY NOW in New York, and Ambiente in Frankfurt. There, we have introduced our newest collection (which will be available online very soon!), got inspired and came back ready to create even more beautiful things. We also chatted the days away with people who love linen as much as we do – from our long-term clients and partners, to those who we’ve met for the first time, but will make sure to maintain the relationship. We’ve tried to involve everyone at Linen Tales as much as possible, so it wasn’t only managers and designers who travelled, but also our wonderful sales people, who take care of our stores so lovingly on daily basis. Our colleagues agreed to share their insights here on our blog, so read on!
We started our travels in Paris’ biggest trade show Maison&Objet. It was very exciting for us, as it was the first time we introduced our new packaging, which we’ll start using very soon and are very proud of. We came a long way towards more environmentally-friendly solution for packing our products, and we’re right at the finish line. We’re switching to a more sustainable material, which will be adorned with unique illustrations. We also used them on our new booth, so you can get a little sneak peek of what’s about to come.
Audronė, store manager
What really struck me at the show was the deep understanding, diligence, and creativity of the people who were so keen on sharing their work with others. Surprisingly, it all came not only from the participants, but also from visitors: it was astonishing to see how much care and love people put into choosing the best products for their shops.
Justė, our digital mind
It is always nice to leave the office and meet people in real life, have a face-to-face chat. Live interactions inspire me. And I am happy to see that the new ideas that we are constantly coming up with and offering our clients are being really appreciated – you could tell that from people’s reactions during the shows.
It always feels good to visit New York, isn’t it? During NY NOW, we’ve met a lot of our current clients and partners, some of which we’ve met in real life for the first time. It was interesting to share insights on linen, its products and colors. We’ve also met a lot of people that shared our love for linen, and we believe that some of these connections will develop into long-term relationships.
Laura, sales manager and perfume enthusiast
It’s incredibly nice to see everyone in real life. Until New York, we only had an online relationship with some of our clients, so finally getting to chat to them was really joyous.
Aside from having met inspiring people, enjoying the great ambience, and getting lots of inspiration at Ambiente, we have also made it to Ambiente Trends 2019 booth. Every year, it presents newest trends of interior and design, including colors, shapes, and fabrics. We are very proud and happy to be among the selected ones!
Elvana, store managerr
I love chatting with clients, and here I got to experience the difference between our wholesale clients and those that come to our store. A cherry on top was the client who was in my store in Vilnius this fall, and came to look for us during the show. I also enjoyed looking around other booths, getting inspired. My mind was constantly full of ideas on how to improve our work and exposition even further in the future.
